The Berkeley Physics Department is holding its annual open house for prospective graduate students on March 12 and 13. Unusually, with the restrictions brought about by the coronavirus outbreak, this open house will be held virtually. The AMO/QI group will be giving overview talks, presenting posters, meeting students, and conducting laboratory tours, all via online platforms. This is not ideal — it does not convey the great vibe in the AMO/QI group and the Berkeley Physics Department, nor does it allow us to show off the fabulous physical environment, cultural buzz, and great lifestyle at Berkeley. But it will have to do for now! We look forward to “meeting” the admitted graduate school class, and welcome all of you to reach out and communicate further to learn more about Berkeley Physics.
